Giza pyramids
The most famous complex of pharaoh's pyramids refers to the time of the 4th Dynasty and is situated near Giza. These famous pyramids are also called the Great Pyramids. The builders of these pyramids were the masters in technical and decorative methods of stone working. People were first using the stone for building of such monumental and great constructions.
The form of these buildings originates from the architecture of Imhotep and the base of this pyramid was the pyramid to the first pharaoh of the fourth dynasty that was rebuilt several times. The Great pyramid Cheops or the Khufu Pyramid was considered to be the Seventh Wonder of the World.
This pharaoh also had some other pyramids at least two or three. But scientists still wonder why this pharaoh needed to built three and sometimes even four pyramids. And it is interesting to know that the final geometrical form of pyramids formed during his ruling.
Later the tombs of pharaohs in the form of pyramids get the thin form and later they became pointed. But certainly when people hear about pyramids, they remember the Khufu pyramid. And really this pyramid is great and monumental and the perfection of its proportions is the result of complicated mathematical work. Its height is about 147 meters and the length of its sides is 230 meters.
Authors of many books and works tried to discover the mystery of Egyptians that managed to build the pyramid. There were even people that considered that this pyramid was the result of the work of the Atlantis citizens.
